Taman Jurong Christmas Day Event
Helped out by hosting for a Community Centre Christmas Event organised by the Taman Jurong Youth Group.
GIC SPARKS AND STUDY GRANT
In order to receive full monetary sum to aid in my study, I attended the training and completed 25 hours of community service. This experience has given me to chance to not only make new friends but reaching out to the lower income families in Singapore as I did door knocking and checking in on families. The organisation that I have chosen to work with is Beyond Social Services, Celebration of Learning for Youth.

I strongly believe that giving back to the society is a must.
As the VIA committee for my CCA, I chose to work with the Food Bank. From the start to the end of the project, I was the bridge of communication between the organisation and CCA.

Ministry of Education, Communications and Engagement Group, Design Office (2023)
Temasek Polytechnic Year 3 Student Internship Programme
Together with my team, we support MOE’s public communications initiatives by creating content and user experiences that show the purpose and impact of policies. I storyboard, ideate and produce content for MOE and Minister for Education's (Mr Chan Chun Sing) social media platform. I also follow Min Chan on school visits to Gen-Ed, SPED and IHLS across the span of my 16 weeks internship.

Worked part time at Chi Chan San Chen when free.
Event Buddy (2022)
Completed a Temasek Polytechnic job shadowing programme/ short-term work attachment programme with EVENT BUDDY PTE. LTD. It was a new experience for me as it is a complete new industry and my boss placed me in a project alone and prepared slides for client as well as pitching my ideas to the client for a team bonding event over a span of two weeks. I also got to work on-site for two events, helping out for preparation and took care of booths.
Yomie's Yogurt & Three Point Two
As I entered Year 1, I took on two part time jobs in the F&B industry. One being a drink store and another being a dessert and gelato cafe. However as the pandemic strikes once again and we had to go into lock down, the opportunity for me to work was lesser as less manpower was needed as only delivery and take away was allowed.
Sheng Siong
Signing a student contract whereby the duration of my work as a cashier was from December 2020 to early February 2021 has allowed me to learn many things especially during the Covid pandemic outbreak. Working at a supermarket was not easy, especially being a cashier. One needs to be patient, meticulous, fast and efficient at the same time. As it was during the pandemic and over festive season such as Christmas and Chinese New Year, queues was always long. I have learnt to be calm and composed despite dealing with crowds and was has also grown physically and mentally. As I faced difficult customers, I have also learnt to be smart by killing them with kindness. Who would have thought a 16 year old can lift multiple cartons of Tiger Beer.

Artistic Experience
(Chinese Dance)
Having being in Chinese Dance for 8 years, I have grown as an individual. Participating in various performances with the presence of many audience watching, has allow me to overcome my stage fright and nervousness. Chinese Dance has also allow me to understand the importance of teamwork where we go hand in hand for the common goal which is to achieve a good performance, one where the audience enjoy.
